Meet the leader of Employment Law Resource Group.
Before founding Employment Law Resource Group, Rob was a member of the renowned Employment Law Group at Wilson Sonsini. There, Rob provided employment litigation, counseling and training services to senior executives, founders, board members and human resources professionals in a variety of technology, life science and other growth business enterprises.
Through many years practicing employment law with the Bay Area’s best—at Wilson Sonsini, Morgan Lewis and Hanson Bridgett—Rob developed experience and expertise in a broad range of employment law matters, establishing his strong reputation as a trusted resource for keen legal insight and wise counsel. In 2010 and 2013 Super Lawyers magazine, published by Law & Politics, recognized Rob as a "Rising Star" in employment and labor law, an honor limited to 2.5% of lawyers in the Northern California jurisdiction.
In addition to his role as founding partner, Rob currently serves as Co-Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) Justice & Diversity Center’s Leadership Council. In 2008, Rob served as BASF Barristers Club President (association of 3200+ attorneys in their first 10 years of practice) and as an ex-officio BASF Director. Rob also served as a Director and Development Co-Chair of Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom from 2009 through 2011 (local LGBT bar association).
Rob is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of Law (J.D., 2002) and Columbia Union College (B.A. and B.S., magna cum laude, 1998). He also studied international law and human rights at Leiden University in the Netherlands (2002).
